Frimley Green, batting in variable conditions, got off to a good start against Hook, reaching 60/1 from 16 overs before the rot set in. Gordon Marsh's 25 and Nick Sharma's 34 were valuable innings, but after that the middle order crumbled until the last-wicket pair put on 40 runs, Paul Butt smashing a superb 30 from just 21 balls.
Defending a respectable 155, opening bowlers Huggett and Butt quickly reduced Hook to 13/3 and hopes were high for victory. However, Docis, dropped early in his innings off Huggett, and opener Fitzer calmly took the score to 155 before Docis was run out, and Fitzer fittingly scored a 4 to end on 79no and win the game for Hook.
