Good with the bat, great in the field and with the ball, the win always looked on the cards.
Playing at Frimley Lodge Park for the first time, FGCC lost the toss and were inserted, but put on a very competitive 205/8 thanks mainly to Rich Loosley, Dave Brown, and Antony Johnson. Defending that total turned out to be surprisingly straightforward once Rich Loosley had removed the top order with some fine bowling.
Rus Edmonds then made a bit of history with some great bowling, finishing the match with only the third hat-trick in FGCC's history. His figures read 41...............WWW, with the hat-trick ball sparking wild celebrations. <br />
