Frimley Green won a thrilling match against Crown Wood thanks to outstanding performances from brothers-in-law Julian Bland and Antony Johnson.
Johnson single-handedly gave FGCC a competitive total, with a superb 76 not out off 74 balls, with only one other batsman reaching double figures.
Frimley Green then held their catches to ensure they achieved a rare victory over Crown Wood - Julian Bland held a great effort on the run, and Jon Prior took a superb diving effort. The plaudits must all go to Jules for a great bowling performance; he took 7 wickets, including 4 in his last 2 overs when the match was really in the balance. A trademark slower ball finished proceedings, much to the delight of the whole side, who all put in battling performances.
