Thankfully the rain intervened to halt Frimley Green's losing streak in this home game vs. Badshot Lea. FGCC's score of 161 was due in no small part to another half-century for Manoj, although credit to the tail for wagging a little and Suresh for a captain's cameo. In reply, Spooner and Pantony, perhaps sensing the game would be called off early due to the weather, batted like a 20/20 opening pair and smashed the ball all over the shop. Going at 10 an over for the first 5 overs, thankfully the heavens opened and the game was called off before any further carnage ensued.
