Winning the toss and opting to bat, Tilford got off to a flier, with C Rooney smashing a superb 74 before being caught and bowled by Dave Brown. That might have led to some relief, but I Higgins then thumped a brilliant 125 not out to leave FGCC needing 300 to win. Dave Brown may have had them worried with his quickfire 66 at the top of the order, but once he was out caught on the boundary the required run rate quickly spiralled out of reach. Frimley Green were left with no option but to bat out the overs, a task they accomplished with some ease.
