Frimley Green Cricket Club vs Ottershaw & Hamm Moor - Sunday 14th July 2013, 14:00

Ottershaw & Hamm Moor (180/8) beat Frimley Green Cricket Club (53/9) by 127 runs

Match Detail
FGCC were soundly beaten by Ottershaw and Hamm Moor on a scorching hot day at Frimley Lodge Park. Losing the toss and being forced to bowl first, Frimley Green lost opening bowler David Huggett only two overs into his spell, due to a back complaint. With Ottershaw's openers, Keene (42) and Dinsdale (26) tucking into anything at all wayward, they were flying early on only to be pegged back thanks to 3 catches from Rich Loosley. Rus Edmonds continued his fine wicket-taking form with 4 wickets, Ottershaw ultimately finishing on 180/8, number 5 D Wickes top-scoring with 53. After an excellent tea (good effort Tim!), Jim Barker was soon undone by a shooter to be LBW to Qureshi, who later bowled Rich Loosley with another that stayed low. Inconsistent bounce became a theme of the innings, with several batsmen undone by balls that stayed low. Khan bowled an excellent, tight spell of 8-4-12-4 as Frimley Green folded meekly for just 53, Huggett unable to bat due to injury.
