Badshot Lea vs Frimley Green Cricket Club - Sunday 1st June 2014, 14:00

An enjoyable game played in great spirit, and featuring another magnificent Badshot Lea tea, was eventually won by the home side with 2 wickets to spare. Batting first on a green wicket, FGCC struggled throughout their innings, with only a magnificent effort from Mike Parry taking his side to a respectable total. David Huggett and Nick Gates made early inroads into the Badshot Lea batting lineup, but they were scoring quickly and, despite a couple of wickets from Mike securing his place as MOTM, Sam Acres's 50 (retired) ultimately won his team the match.
