After a last-ball victory against Seven Sports in the corresponding fixture last year, FGCC couldn't replicate their winning ways in this year's match-up. Poor fielding - 9 dropped catches - led to Clements making 63* as he lead SSCC to 183 off their 35 overs. In reply, FGCC's opening order collapsed, and it wasn't until Tim and Anam came in that some rigidity returned. However by that time FGCC were 7 wickets down, and despite 3 sixes off one P. Johnson over courtesy of Anam the target proved too much. Despite only batting just over half their allotted overs, FGCC crumbled to a meagre 99 all out.
